The Director General of Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority, Michael Luguje continued his courtesy visit to management of the Ghana Community Network Services (GCNet) who are providing IT solutions to government.
The GPHA Boss commended GCNet for the services it is providing to ensure trade facilitation in Ghana.
Michael Luguje urged them to assist the Port Community to tackle the issue of transit cargoes that are being diverted into the Ghanaian market by unscrupulous importers.
The Executive Chairman of GCNet, Dr. Nortey Amaboe disclosed that, GCNet is keen on collaborating with GPHA to improve trading activities in Ghana.
He said GCNet is striving to resolve all the challenges facing the transit cargo tracking system to the benefit of the country.
The Acting Director General of GPHA accompanied by the General Manager, Marketing and Corporate Affairs, Esther Gyebi-Donkor, Marketing and other Management members and Staff of GPHA were taking round some IT installations of GCNet.
