GPHA, GRA strengthen collaboration for efficient cargo clearance and trade facilitation

On Wednesday, 12th March, the Acting Director General of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA), Brigadier General Paul Seidu Tanye-Kulono, received the Commissioner General of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), Mr. Anthony Sarpong and officials from GRA at the GPHA headquarters.


The visit was aimed at strengthening the historical collaboration between the two institutions, enhancing port operations and improving revenue mobilization for the state. 


Mr. Anthony Sarpong expressed gratitude to the Director General for the fruitful coexistence over the years and urged both organizations to continue working together harmoniously in the interest of the nation. 


For his part, Brigadier General Paul Seidu Tanye-Kulono called on all stakeholders to come together to ensure that the cost of doing business at the ports is reduced to make the ports of Ghana more competitive and attractive.
