Bunkers
The Port of Takoradi in partnership with the Ghana Oil Company (GOIL) provides 24/7 marine gas oil bunkering service to vessels in the Port. The GOIL Tank Farm has a tatal capacity of 13.5 million litres with fuel pipes connected along the main quay.
Fresh Water
A key requirement of any offshore logistics support base is a 24/7 offering of berthing, drill water, waste management and stock yard for pipes.
Viking Offshore has installed a desalination plant with the capacity of providing 1020mt of fresh water a day, supported by Halliburton with the supply of barite, liquid mud and cement as the base component for use at the oil fields.
