The newly reconstituted Board of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) has been officially inaugurated, with a directive from the Minister for Transport, Hon. Joseph Bukari Nikpe, to prioritize the reduction of the cost of doing business at Ghana’s ports.
At the inauguration ceremony held last week, Hon. Nikpe emphasized the need for the Board to work closely with the private sector to develop the Keta Port into a complementary petroleum products delivery hub. He also charged the Board to enhance Ghana’s transit trade by improving corridor security and eliminating barriers and harassment along trade routes.
