A one-year anniversary has been held for the former Marketing and Public Affairs Manager of the Port of Tema, the late Josephine Asante who was murdered in cold blood at her Emefs residence.

Family and friends who were clad in white gathered at the Our Lady of Mercy Church in Tema Community One to thank God and also celebrate the life and memory of the late Josephine Asante.

A brother of the deceased, Patrick Kusi Adu expressed displeasure with the slow pace at which the Ghana Police is carrying out its investigations.

“We are very disappointed with the Ghana Police on results of investigative activities. It seems like we are still where we left off last year,” he complained.

He, however, expressed hope that the police will continue with their investigations so as to arrest whoever was responsible for the criminal act.

The Materials Manager at the Port of Tema, Philippa Amanda Armah who was a colleague to the deceased also called on the police not to give up the investigations.

“We are hoping that the police will continue with their investigations and bring us all closure so we will understand the circumstances of this horrific experience that we encountered last year,” she said
